保存條件 Store at -20 °C for one year. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles. The lyophilized antibody is stable at room temperature for at least one month and for greater than a year when kept at -20°C. When reconstituted in sterile pH 7.4 0.01M PBS or diluent of antibody the antibody is stable for at least two weeks at 2-4 °C.

This gene encodes a member of the mammalian activation transcription factor/cAMP responsive element-binding (CREB) protein family of transcription factors. This gene is induced by a variety of signals, including many of those encountered by cancer cells, and is involved in the complex process of cellular stress response. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. It is possible that alternative splicing of this gene may be physiologically important in the regulation of target genes. [provided by RefSeq, Apr 2011].

Function:
This protein binds the cAMP response element (CRE) (consensus: 5'-GTGACGT[AC][AG]-3'), a sequence present in many viral and cellular promoters. Represses transcription from promoters with ATF sites. It may repress transcription by stabilizing the binding of inhibitory cofactors at the promoter. Isoform 2 activates transcription presumably by sequestering inhibitory cofactors away from the promoters.

Binds DNA as a homodimer or a heterodimer.

轉(zhuǎn)錄激活因子3(activating transcription factor 3,ATF3)屬含*拉鏈結(jié)構(gòu)的轉(zhuǎn)錄因子ATF/CREB家族成員，分子量20kDa,在大部分正常細(xì)胞中呈低濃度穩(wěn)態(tài)表達(dá)。在正常組織中含量很低，在應(yīng)激狀態(tài)是表達(dá)增加，形成二聚體。ATF3是個(gè)應(yīng)激早期快反應(yīng)基因，體內(nèi)外可被一系列損傷性應(yīng)激信號(hào)快速誘導(dǎo)表達(dá)。ATF3不僅在應(yīng)激反應(yīng)中是個(gè)關(guān)鍵性的調(diào)控因子，還廣泛參與了機(jī)體穩(wěn)態(tài)維持、創(chuàng)傷愈合、細(xì)胞黏附、腫瘤形成、凋亡以及信號(hào)傳導(dǎo)等生理和病理過程。ATF3與細(xì)胞生存和凋亡有關(guān)，但在不同的細(xì)胞狀態(tài)下發(fā)揮不同甚至相反的作用。
